Ash, a present-day computer guru and trouble shooter, is dragged through time to the year 2022 by a sophisticated, controlling and highly-manipulative matriarch, who runs Singapore. There is a dire need to address critical issues of pollution and fuel supply and Ash has the ‘off the grid’ type of thinking that might just do it. He is teamed up with Mia, a beautiful animate/android powered by a quantum computer brain. But Mia isn’t all she appears. Lurking in her equivalent of a subconscious is a powerful and dangerous post-biological entity that was conceived when she was close to Ash.
The entity tries all within its power to get a body for itself by using percipience and perception that it has developed. This involves manipulating minds without thought of consequence.

Author’s note on flowers and why he used them for the cover.We cleared an overgrown farm in Portugal with a brush-cutter with just twigs remaining. Within a very short time the flowers bloomed from what looked like dead twigs.The first thought was how wonderful it was how nature so quickly tried to re-instate itself.The book has many layers and tries to interpret Quantum Physics for everyone. The flowers are a graphic irony about entropy and everything tending to descend to a natural disorder.The flowers imply that whilst this might be true in a macro verse, in the micro verse things may be different.After all we have yet to discover how many particles make up the ‘God’ [Higgs Boson] particle.The Author hopes this book makes some bright mind somewhere light up and go to places beyond the ‘Unthought known’.
